Eric & Sara Watson: H2M Brand Haus’ Restaurant Advisor Power Couple

Graduates of the Colorado Mountain Culinary Institute, Sara and Eric Watson each possess two decades of kitchen experience. The couple moved from the mountains to the prairie in 2002, and immediately immersed themselves into the Midwest’s fine dining scene.

It began with the start of Mosaic Catering in 2003, followed by a stint at Maxwell’s in 2005 — both in Fargo, ND. By 2008, it was time to scratch the restaurateur itch. Eric and Sara opened Mezzaluna, also in Fargo, helping bolster the burgeoning revitalization of the city’s downtown area.

Five years later, the couple opened another fine dining experience with Rustica across the river in downtown Moorhead, MN. Both successful restaurants earned honors, with Eric receiving multiple consecutive awards as Fargo-Moorhead’s best head chef.

The pair since sold their shares of these two restaurants to employees, who have successfully carried the torch and thrive to this day.

Today, Sara serves as a private chef to multiple families in the Fargo-Moorhead region. Meanwhile, Eric acts as a Food Fanatic Chef for US Foods. In this role, he consults restaurateurs throughout the central region on ingredients, recipes, and entire menus.

H2M Brand Haus leverages Sara and Eric’s experience, and hospitality enthusiasm, to strengthen the agency’s branding and marketing services. Together we all work to raise awareness, create unique offerings, and make the restaurants we work with destinations that scream to be investigated.
